Our Menus

Dining at the Bell & Cross is a celebration of high quality modern British food. Below are our sample menus so you can get a taste of what we offer. The menus at The Bell & Cross change on a seasonal basis, but this will give you a flavour.


Seared Pave of our own Smoked Salmon


Sautéed asparagus, potato salad, warm tartar butter.

Garlic Prawns


Pan fried king prawns, garlic butter, parsley and lemon served with chargrilled focaccia.

Chicken Wings


12 hour BBQ B&C rub, slow roasted until golden brown.

Chicken Satay


12 hour marinated chicken breast skewers, chargrilled and served with peanut dipping sauce.

Twice Baked Cheese Souffle


Red Leicester, Gruyère, parmesan baked on whole grain mustard cream.

Asian Pork Belly Bites


Confit pork belly, fried till crisp, hoisin, sesame, chilli, spring onions served on crispy noodles.

Ham Hock Terrine


12 hour braised, picked and pressed Ham Hock, cornichons, parsley served with piccalilli, seasonal leaves, honey mustard dressing and crostini.

Bell & Cross BBQ Box


Chargrilled chorizo, chargrilled glazed belly pork, BBQ chicken wings, smoked beef short rib, corn on the cob, cabbage, fennel & bacon slaw, chips, BBQ sauce.

Roasted Monkfish


Coconut shellfish bisque, picked crab meat, chili pork gow gees dumplings, coconut rice.



12 hour Braised Blade of Herefordshire beef, Dauphinoise potatoes, glazed chantenay carrots, parsley, garlic and thyme served with seasonal greens and bourguignon sauce.

Duck Confit


12 hour cured then 8 hours braised confit duck, chorizo, mixed bean and pancetta cassoulet, lemon, thyme, parsley and garlic, served with a red wine jus.

Coq Au Vin


Chicken slowly cooked in red wine, pancetta, baby onions, thyme and garlic.
Served with creamed potato and seasonal vegetables.

Lamb Kofta Tagine


Lightly spiced tomato based sauce, Moroccan spices, apricots, prunes and chickpeas.
Served with a light and fluffy cous cous and flat bread.

Fish and Chips


Beer battered Haddock and chips served with tartar sauce and peas.

Piri Piri Chicken


24 hour marinated and char-grilled piri piri chicken breast, served with spiced rice and cajun fries.

King Prawn Curry


Indian spiced tomato and coconut based prawn curry.
Served with Saffron braised rice and naan bread.

B&C Burger


Chargrilled dry aged beef patty, habanero mustard relish, tomato, gem lettuce, Sriracha mayonnaise and cheese served with chips.

Thai Green Fish Curry


Thai green sauce, salmon, haddock, king prawns, pollock, green beens, aubergine.
Served with fragrant noodles.

Ribeye Steak “Au Poivre’


Char-grilled ribeye steak, peppercorn sauce, mushrooms, confit tomato, french fries.

Smoked Salmon Farfalle


Farfalle pasta, white wine cream, smoked salmon, chives.

Chicken Jalfrezi


Chicken, tomato, char-grilled chillies, peppers and coriander served with
Naan bread and saffron rice.



Spinach and mushroom gnocchi, garlic, cream, white wine and truffle.

Chickpea Tagine


Lightly spiced tomato based sauce, Moroccan spices, apricots, prunes and chick peas. Served with fluffy cous cous and flat bread
Sunday Roast Takeaway Menu

Lamb, Roast Chicken, Roast Sirloin of Beef and Pork (only served on Sunday)


All served with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, roast carrots and parsnips, seasonal vegetables and pan juice gravy. Available until it's gone.
Full takeaway menu will also be served on Sunday.
